soaking up the sun

yup, that's pretty much what i've been up to the last week. winter has abruptly ended, and it's been in the 60s & reaching up to the 70s for the past several days. most of us have been taking advantage of the gorgeous weather, sarah & i have been to the gardens 3 times in the last 4 days to read, picnic, and enjoy the sunshine. i'm currently reading the girl with the dragon tattoo series, on number 2 & really enjoying the books. yesterday i went into my morning school to observe my fav class for the am. they did grammar all morning, so i was lucky enough to get a french lesson of my own ;) sarah & i then spent nearly 3 hours in the gardens...reading, chatting, getting a daily dose of vitamin d. then the gym & home for dinner & lesson planning. school tomorrow! teaching time, reading some dr. seuss, reviewing the housing ads my oldest kids did. lunch outside in the gardens between schools! all the time i've been able to spend outside, relaxing, and with friends reminded me of this quote i saw on pinterest...
