it's official! i've accepted a teaching assistant position at New Canaan Country School in New Canaan, CT. i'll start at the end of august & am so unbelievably excited & proud of myself. it feels amazing to have dreams coming true, first with france & then this. i feel like it really is becoming engrained in my heart - if i work hard & dedicate time and effort into something i believe in - i can make it happen.
for all those reading this blog because it deals with travel - don't worry, there are several trips up my sleeve in the next couple months before arriving back in the states! (perhaps normandy, spring scotland, paris, more england, italy & maybe ibiza) but i don't believe travel stops when the plane touches down at JFK. i'll be living in a new region of the usa...one i have yet to explore. clam bakes, lobster, seafood, prep, atlantic coast, lighthouses...so much more to look forward to! of course, i'll have to start a new blog for when i return home...but for now let's get back to life in france :)
this week - school & relaxing outside in the sun. yup, that's pretty much it. oh & the gym. megan arrives on st. patty's day & following that life will be insane ohhhh probably until retirement.
