DAY
6
no more window! :( |
Well, things certainly went downhill
in Prague. I didn’t get to see either of my two friends that live there, and
our car got broken into. The GPS that M borrowed from her friend was stolen, as
was Asia’s 400 euros & camera charger. We are very lucky more wasn’t in the
car to be stolen since we have 2 laptops, 2 Kindle’s and a really nice camera
with us as well. We called the police & got to deal with that the rest of
the day.
not a very pretty sight |
our one stop in prague: the US Embassy! (loved hearing some more american voices after our morning debacle) |
So
as our experience in Prague was not the greatest, it ranks the lowest on the
places I’d like to go back to soon. We went to the rental car agency in the
afternoon, got a new car, and immediately left for Germany. We were very excited
to be in a country that used the Euro, made figuring out money a lot easier. We
stopped in Regensburg for a quick dinner & arrived at our Couchsurfers
place in Munich around 9pm. Their apartment was huge! There were 5 students
living there, and one of their friends was having a birthday party so M, S
& I went with our surfers to that. Turns out all the guys there play on the
Munich American Football team! Haha, I definitely did not know American
Football extended to Europe but it was fun talking about spirals & American
teams.
